Barkers Island Inn Resort & Conference Center

Love this inn and have for years so I was excited to see it on booking.com that way my husband and I could go at a discounted price since we all know that having kids, things are sometimes out of the price range for things like this. This was actually our first time away without any kids with us. Honestly, we wished we could've stayed longer and are already starting to plan another trip so we can stay at the inn again.

The facilities are always inviting. You can't beat the view of Lake Superior, it is gorgeous year round. The rooms are always clean.

There is construction going on so less options to see the full glory. A little outdated room furniture but still very comfortable and clean rooms.. The restaurant is beautiful and great service and the island has beautiful views and a wonderful little store.

Nice pool with a very hot hot tub! Sauna was also nice. We weren’t expecting a breakfast, but it was free! Simple cereal, bread, hard boiled eggs, juice, pastries, and packed breakfast sandwiches. Great water pressure in the shower. Very quiet!

Good value. Room was nice and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Good location with water view.
